Principles and Practice of Illustration (Self-Portrait). Self Research

Here I have used myself as artist research. I was inspired to using this concept after I looked at the stylist magazine research I did, lots of the art used in that particular issue was created by young girls which influenced me to look at some of the stuff I did when I was younger.
Using myself as artist research not only gave me a great opportunity to look at all my old baby stuff but it helped me realised that even from a young age I had a love for patterns. After this research, I decided that I wanted to incorporate that love for pattern somewhere within my final self-portrait piece.
