Principles and Practice of Illustration Part Two (Self-Portrait). Lino Printed Glasses

Here I have used my lino print glasses to create a repetition style background idea for my self-portrait.  

I have decided not to use this in my final piece because I want to make the glasses more of the central focal point in my self-portrait as they are a very prominent and important part of my face so I need to take this opportunity to incorporate that into my piece.
The lino glasses are made with soft lino-cut with is something I found very hard print at home with.
