This is the bottom layer of the ornamental letterpress I made for the workshop I attended. In this workshop, we created a small 8x8 1 point square and filled it with decorational ornaments and printed it in a light pink ink, after we printed our first layer we removed the ornaments and added the second layer which we then printed over in light blue.
The final piece I made ended up looking like a starry sky. This work is very delicate which is actually very different from my usual work. After creating this it actually inspired me to add something similar to my final poster, I thought it would capture the lyrics "late night in Vienna" in a very subtle way.
