After reading Reinventing Letterpress I decided to head to the print room and start experimenting with different typefaces. Since I didn't have a complete narrative yet this was simply all experimental to find some typefaces I liked and compositions.
Something I do really love is the way the yellow ink printed on this pink acetate. You can't quite see it on the photos above but where the yellow ends it has created a small outline of neon pink, I'm not sure why this happened but I really do love the outcome.
I then decided to start letterpressing the alphabet in different typefaces and scan them in so I could use them to make any word or phrase in the future. Something I love about this particular type is the use of negative space and all the texture the wood type prints.
