This is something I have had to put a lot of thought into. I am completely new to having a narrative to my work, I am kind of do what I want kind of an artist so when presented with the challenge of creating a narrative for the module I had to have done a lot of research to help me face this starting with another mind map.
After researching storytelling methods like comics, illustrated books and even animations I have decided to create my narrative using the publication of zine making.
One of the reasons I decided to create a zine is because it exposes people to new important ideas that they might not have ever heard of otherwise and because it can explain complicated ideas in the simplest way.
"Among the various intentions for creation and publication are developing one's identity, sharing a niche-skill or art, or developing a story, as opposed to seeking profit. Zines have served as a significant medium of communication in various subcultures, and frequently draw inspiration from a "do-it-yourself" philosophy that disregard the traditional conventions of professional design and publishing houses proposing an alternative, confident and self-aware contribution."

One of the best things about zines is that more often than not they are not created for profit but for the message. If someone has something they need to say, and they don’t have a platform to speak on creating a zine is perfect because they are self-published magazines.
