After decided I was going to create a zine and after the workshops helping me pick my theme and message for this project I needed to expand on my narrative. Since I am making this project personal so it will feel more intimate for my audience and I want to use my disability to send a message I thought It would be very important to get as much detail in my story before I dissect it for my zine.
Obviously, my mother experienced my story first hand with me and actually remembers what it was like since I was just a baby when it all happened I thought it was very important to document her story to help shape my own in this module. Making this project personal has been a big risk for me and something I have found hard. I want to use my visual communication skills to help tell my story in a gentle but meaningful way.
