Principles and Practice of Illustration. "Kraftwerk Rail Authorities" Train Poster

Here is the first part of my final piece. I created this poster using many different forms of mark making experimental textures.
I have combined all of my research and experimental letter pressing to compose the poster. As you can see I have included the mono printed men (Kraftwerk) which were inspired from an article I read in the 1970s magazine Jackie. I then used a large variety of different experiential letterpress to create the buildings. Also added is the mono printed bricks and subtle landmarks from both Paris and Vienna.
The skyline was composed of the visual audio in the song and was complimented with the ornamental letterpressed stars which was motivated by the workshop I took.
Combining all of these different elements together has contributed greatly to the project and especially in the final poster.
