Principles and Practice of Illustration. Mono Print Wall
By using the small brick monoprint I produced to add texture for my poster I composed this brick wall. I inked up and printed in rows in no particular order. While doing this I was just experimenting with no real intention but once finished and dried I scanned it in and was determined to add the final poster over the top so the image itself looks like its actually posted to a brick wall. Because of the nature of the monoprint and how my final travel poster ended up working out, they both marry together nicely and I'm very content I ended up creating this. Having the wall really gives the final piece a distinct feel and I feel like it really completes it.
